RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
The Vinicunca mountain, known as the mountain of 7 colors, red mountain or rainbow mountain, is a magical place surrounded by snow-capped mountains, camelids, birds, rivers and Andean communities, now it has become a natural wonder similar to the rainbow mountains of China and Argentina.
Itinerary
We will go to the Mountain. The route that we will take will have as its first stop the center of the city of Chirihuani in the district of Cusipata, in that place we will have a delicious Andean breakfast, once finished it is the starting point of our walk.
The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes uphill until you reach the foothills of Valle Rojo, the access point to this mystical site.
Thus, we will walk along a path that will gradually change the landscape to mountains of intense colors and small streams of frozen water that feed and give life to this valley. We will reach a height of 5200 meters above sea level, height of the majestic Vinicunca mountain.
Then, already in our long-awaited destination, we will have time to take photos of ourselves in the colorful landscapes and thus immortalize this unforgettable experience.
Likewise, we will have a specialized guide service with which we will learn all the history behind the Vinicunca mountain.
Then, we will return to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious typical lunch.
At the end of the tour, our transport will be waiting for us to return to the city of Cusco.
